Canada India Foundation – India Chapter  will adopt 75 childrens who have lost both parents due to COVID pandemic as part of 75th Independence years of the Indian Republic .

 Mr Ritesh Malik -National Convener Canada India Foundation – India Chapter  told that the organization will adopt childrens  Age between 0-17 years (Male , Female & Other) from the families  who have  not any source of income  due to business shut down, job lost or other reasonable reason  during  to this pandemic .He said that organization legal team  will ensure all type of legal  compliance to meet the statutory provision and requirements in this regard .

He said that organization has  earmarked a budget provison of Rs.100000/- ( one lakh only ) for each childrens  to meet the expenses of   their education, food, clothing and health. Out of total annual budget for each childrens We will allocate 45% for their education  35% for food, 20% for health . The budget allocation can be  increased after review on quarterly basis. he added .He said that one child from one family living below poverty line only  from rural villages will be adopted by the organization after completing all legal  and codal formalities .

Saumil Purohit , Chair India Chapter  Canada India Foundation – India Chapter said that initially the childrens will be supported in their native places schools only but later on some brilliant childrens will be sponsored for study at prestigous residentials schools in the country and all expenses incurred on education will be borne by the organization .

He sought common man active association in this noble cause and asked the intellectuals to contribute their skills and knowledge to make this campaign  a success

Children are the future of a nation. For an emerging country like India, development of underprivileged children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself, and their education is the cornerstone of this progress
