Patna, February 16, 2021: During the journey on National Highways (NH) in Bihar, travellers will get better food outlets and facilities. The nano market will be set up along the NH.

These nano markets will have restaurants, ATMs, craft shop, dhabas, children playground and other facilities. To provide this facility to the people, the officials of the Ministry of Road and Transport and Bihar government have started the exercise.

According to an official, “Travelling for long distances by road often have problems with food. If someone wants to move away from the urban area to eat or rest, they do not get this facility. The government has decided to establish a nano market every 40 to 60 kilometres along the National Highways so that the passengers travelling by road get all kinds of facilities.”

“The facilities will be available at around one kilometre from the toll plaza so that there will be no traffic jam on the highways. If there is a religious, historical and tourist place, then the places around it will be given due consideration. It will also be seen that the passengers will get the facility on both sides of the road so that no one has to cross the road and move to avail these facilities,” said the officer.
