Patna, 15 April 2021: Due to the rising numbers of corona patients in Bihar, the state government is taking all precautionary measures to prevent coronavirus.

Today, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said every option is being considered. The decision of lockdown or night curfew will be taken after the all-party meeting on April 17 under the chairmanship of Governor Fagu Chauhan.

He was interacting with media persons after taking his second dose of the vaccine. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar went to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) and took the second dose of the vaccine after six weeks of the first dose.

Along with CM Nitish, Deputy CM Tarakishore Prasad, Energy Minister Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Minister Vijay Chaudhary also took the second dose of Corona vaccine. Health Minister Mangal Pandey and Principal Secretary of the Department of Health, Pratyay Amrit were also present.

After taking the second dose, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that everyone should take the Corona vaccine.

CM Nitish said, “We have already been talking about the Corona test. If there is a test, it will be good and the issue will be known. Continuous arrangements are being made by the government on the COVID test. The health department is continuously increasing the system. People should take precaution during this time.”

He added, “Awareness is very important to prevent corona. Our officials are watching everything. There is an all-party meeting on 17 April under the chairmanship of Governor Fagu Chauhan. On that day, a decision will be taken in view of the suggestions and circumstances coming from the leaders of the political parties. Our government is considering every option. The government has made its preparations on every front. Special attention is being paid to people coming from outside Bihar.”
