Patna, 3rd May 2021: As many as 13,603 patients suffering from COVID-19 recovered in the last 24 hours in the state. As per data provided by the Bihar Health Department 78.29 percent recovery rate has been registered.

However, 11,407 new cases have been found in the state.  2028 new cases have been reported in Patna and this is a worrying situation. 1035 cases were found infected in Vaishali, 662 in Gaya, 653 in Muzaffarpur, 549 in West Champaran and 510 in Begusarai.

As per data provided by Bihar Health Department, there were 211 cases in Araria, Arwal 88, Aurangabad 356, Banka 96, Begusarai 378, Bhojpur 48, Buxar 75, Darbhanga 139, East Champaran 148, Gaya 662, Gopalganj 294, Jamui 76, Jehanabad 149, Kaimur 98, Katihar 198, Khagaria 116, Kishanganj 59, Lakhisarai 60, Madhepura 155, Madhubani 157, Muzaffarpur 653, Nalanda 346, Nawada 124, Patna 2028, Purnia 286, Rohtas 130, Saharsa 499, Samastipur s290, Saran 361, Sheikhpura 32, Sheohar 70, Sitamarhi 129, Siwan 304, Supaul 297, Vaishali 1035, West Champaran 549 new cases found in the state. Also, samples collected from persons of other state are 26.
