Punjab, 28th March 2022: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made a big announcement for the state today. In his announcement, he said that the government will deliver rations to the poor from door to door. Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have welcomed this announcement and termed it a historic step.

Arvind Kejriwal said that the door-to-door ration scheme has started in Punjab. “I am very happy for this to the people of Punjab. The central government prevented it from being implemented in Delhi. No problem. It will now start from Punjab.”

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has started the ‘Ration, Aapke Dwar’ scheme, through which people will now be provided with a ration sitting at home. People will not need to get ration by standing in lines. The Chief Minister released a video message today and said that people have to stand in long lines to get rations and poor people have to give up their daily wages to get rations many times, causing their loss.

He said that a poor man who is a daily earner is not in a condition to give up his daily wage. The Chief Minister said that he saw that sometimes mothers and sisters have to bring rations from far away, but now the government has decided that the people of the department will provide rations at your home. Before coming home, people will be asked whether they are at home or not.

He said that the quality of the ration would also be good. Bhagwant Mann claimed that the same scheme was started by the Delhi government of the Aam Aadmi Party but it was stopped there. We will show it by implementing it in Punjab.
