New Delhi, 16th June 2021: Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said that several preparations are being made to deal with a possible third wave of coronavirus infection in the national Capital.

In the first and second waves, the entire nation has witnessed a shortage of medical equipment. Keeping that in mind, Delhi Government has taken a crucial decision to appoint 5000 health assistants who are also known as community nursing assistants. These 5000 youths will be trained for two weeks each after appointment.

Kejriwal said, “5000 health assistants will be trained by IP University. They will be trained at nine major medical institutes in Delhi.”

Kejriwal said that one can apply for health assistant posts from 17th June. After that, selected people will undergo training from 28th June. 12th pass will be considered for these posts.
