Patna, 4th May 2021: The Patna High Court has once again reprimanded the Bihar government amid increasing cases of coronavirus in the state. During a hearing today, the High Court expressed displeasure over the state government’s failure to deal with Corona. The court said that it is a shame not to improve the situation even after repeated orders.

The High Court said, “In this situation, the responsibility of COVID management in the state should be handed over to the army.”

With this comment, the High Court adjourned the next hearing till May 6. The High Court has asked the state government to give a detailed report on the corona situation within two days.

During the hearing, the state government informed the Patna High Court of the decision to impose lockdown in the state. A bench of Justice CS Singh is hearing the matter. The state government informed the court that it has been decided to impose a lockdown in Bihar from May 5 to May 15.

Expressing displeasure over the situation of Corona control, the court even said that in our view you fail, why not the army be entrusted with the responsibility of managing the COVID of Bihar. During the observation, this question was raised, on which the government made its stand that “on what basis are you talking about giving the responsibility of COVID management to the army? If the ground reality is right here, can you entrust this responsibility to the army because you are not believing?”

The court said that no decision has been taken on the subject. First, you hand over all your details. After that, it will be considered.

Advocate General Lalit Kishore said that he has been asked to file the details. They have time till tomorrow. Further action will be taken on May 6.
