Bihar: 11926 Patients Discharged, 14794 New Cases Reported Today

Patna, April 23, 2021: As many as 11,926 patients suffering from COVID-19 recovered in the last 24 hours in the state. As per data provided by the Bihar Health Department 78.36 percent recovery rate has been registered.

However, 14,794 new cases have been found in the state. 2681 new cases have been registered in the state capital Patna. 767 have been  found in Gaya, 637 in Vaishali, 618 in Nalanda, 538 in West Champaran and 534 in Aurangabad.

As per data provided by Bihar Health Department, Araria 187, Arwal 145, Aurangabad 534, Banka 112, Begusarai 462, Bhagalpur 417, Bhojpur 201, Buxar 132, Darbhanga 290, East Champaran 232, Gaya 767, Gopalganj 391, Jamui 538, Jehanabad 78, Kaimur 106, Katihar 245, Khagaria 321, Kishanganj 164, Lakhisarai 103, Madhepura 299, Madhubani 411, Munger 170, Muzaffarpur 461, Nalanda 618, Nawada 287, Patna 2681, Purnia 371, Rohtas 223, Saharsa 323, Samastipur 498, Saran 457, Sheikhpura 328, Sheohar 178, Sitamarhi 166, Siwan 348, Supaul 323, Vaishali 637, West Champaran 516 new cases found in 24 hours. Also, 74 samples were collected from persons of other state found positive.
