Patna, 10th May 2021: As many as 12,265 patients suffering from COVID-19 recovered in the last 24 hours in the state. As per data provided by the Bihar Health Department 83.43 per cent recovery rate has been registered.

As per data provided by the health department, 9863 new Corona infections are identified. In the last 24 hours, 1,11,740 samples were examined. Patna has the highest number of 977 new infections. While 523 in Nalanda, 506 in Muzaffarpur, 487 in Samastipur and 478 in Katihar new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

As per the data provided by the State Health Department, Araria 260, Arwal 169, Aurangabad 228, Banka 113, Begusarai 409, Bahgalpur 204, Bhojpur 43, Buxar 86, Darbhanga 139, East Champaran 338, Gaya 388, Gopalganj 182, Jamui 141, Jehanabad 40, Kaimur 122, Katihar 478, Khagaria 281, Kishanganj 149, Lakhisarai 59, Madhepura 180, Madhubani 317, Munger 276, Muzaffarpur 506, Nalanda 523, Nawada 125, Patna 977, Purnia 331, Rohtas 113, Saharsa 218, Samastipur 487, Saran 343, Sheikhpura 97, Sheohar 111, Sitamarhi 142, Siwan 215, Supaul 291, Vaishali 398, West Champaran 339 new cases found in 24 hours. Also, 45 samples are collected from persons of other states.
