Mumbai, 27th May 2022: Aryan Khan was arrested in the drugs case last year and he was also in custody for a few days. As a relief to Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, has got a clean chit in the drug case.

A Hindustan Times report earlier said that the Central Agency had not found any such evidence to show that Aryan Khan had any hand in drugs or international drug smuggling. The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is headed by Sanjay Kumar Singh, admitted that there is no evidence against Aryan Khan in this case.

According to the statement of the NCB, based on the investigation conducted by the SIT, a chargesheet was filed against 14 people under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. The chargesheet has not been filed against six persons as no evidence has been found against them.

Aryan Had Not Consumed The Drug

On October 2, according to the agency, Aryan Khan, Ishmeet, Arbaaz, Vikrant and Gomit were caught at the International Port Terminal and Nupur, Mohak and Munmum Dhamicha were caught on the cruise. Later it was found out that all had consumed drugs except for Aryan Khan and Mohak.

On November 6, the case was handled by the SIT and they found out that Aryan Khan did not consume drugs so there was no need to confiscate his phone and check his chats. It was also found from the chats that Aryan Khan was not a part of any international syndicate.

About The Case

Aryan was caught from the terminal of the cruise ship in Mumbai on the night of 2 October. Along with Aryan, his friends Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also caught by the NCB.

Aryan Khan was in the custody of NCB for a few days. After this, he was sent to judicial custody on 7 October. After this, on October 30, he came out from there.
