Jammu, 28 June 2021: Two more drones were found in the Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir late on Sunday night after two drone blasts at the Jammu Air Force Station. The drones were found near Kaluchak-Ratanchak Military Station in Samba district. A spokesperson of the Defence Ministry said that the Army personnel fired 20 rounds at the drone as soon as it was sighted. A search operation has been started in the area on Monday morning. According to the statement issued by the army, the first drone was sighted at 11:45 pm, while the second drone was seen late at 2:40 pm.
According to the statement issued by the army, the two drones took off immediately after the soldiers were alerted. Security forces have been on high alert after the incident.
Earlier, two Air Force personnel were injured in two blasts at the Jammu Air Force Station. The first explosion occurred late Saturday night around 1:40 am and the second explosion took place six minutes later.
