Jammu, 16th July 2022: A constable of the 8th Battalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police opened fire in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 3 of his companions including himself were injured. This sudden incident caused a stir and there was panic among the soldiers. Later on, he shot himself. The young man died in this incident.

According to the information, after the firing of the jawan, there was a stir on the spot. There was panic among the soldiers. Before the other jawans could catch him, he shot himself, killing him on the spot. On the other hand, other soldiers who were injured in the firing have been admitted to the hospital.

According to ITBP, the condition of the injured is stable. On the other hand, the Court of Inquiry has been ordered in the matter.
