Bihar: Recovery Rate From Coronavirus Increased By 4.39%, Infection Rate Drops


Patna, 12th May 2021: The lockdown is helping to break Corona’s chain in the state. A lockdown was imposed in the state from May 5. In the last seven days, the recovery rate has increased by 4.39%.

At the same time, the infection rate has come down to 5.66% during this period. The recovery rate of corona in the state increased to 78.38% on May 5, which increased to 82.77% on May 11.

At the same time, the infection rate was 15.58% on May 5, which came down to 9.92% on Tuesday. After 21 days the infection rate has come down to 10%.

Earlier on 20 April, the infection rate was 9.85%. As many as 1,10,071 test samples collected on Tuesday and 10920 new corona positives found. Among these, 1702 new cases were found in Patna.

The result of better recovery rate is that the number of active corona patients in the state has also started to decrease. In the last six days, 13,142 active patients have decreased. On May 6, the maximum number of active patients was 1,15,151, which has now come down to 1,02,009. On Tuesday, 13852 corona patients recovered, while 72 died.
