Jammu and Kashmir, 9th August, 2021: After Jammu and Kashmir, now the shadow of drone attack is hovering in Punjab. Punjab Police claimed to have recovered explosives and hand grenades packed in tiffin boxes from villages bordering Pakistan. State Police Chief Dinkar Gupta said that the police are working on the matter in coordination with the central agencies. Not only this, Gupta raised doubts that IED explosives and hand grenades were dropped from across the border through grenades. However, he did not say who could have been targeted by the terrorists.

Punjab Police DGP Gupta said, “We believe that these IEDs and grenades were dropped by drones from across the border. These are remotely operated and dangerous devices. They can be run with the help of a battery. Explosives were found in Dalke village of Punjab on Sunday. However, Gupta did not mention any terrorist organization while talking to the media on Monday. But it must be said that we are aware of whose hand is behind all this. Not only this, he said that a big conspiracy of terrorists has also been foiled.

The Chief of Punjab Police said that since this matter came to light, we are working closely with the NIA and BSF. Along with this, he has also appealed to the common people that if you travel in buses or any other public transport, then definitely inform the police about any suspicious object around you. Do not ignore any such thing. Especially just a week before Independence Day, getting such explosives is going to add to the concern. Vigilance has been increased in the state in view of this incident. Agencies have been asked to be vigilant, especially in the border areas.
