Lucknow, 3rd May 2021: Seeing the increasing cases of coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a big decision. Corona curfew has been extended for two more days in the state. That is, the lockdown that lasted till 7 am on Tuesday will now continue till 7 am on Thursday. Lockdown has been extended to prevent infection. The lockdown will remain in effect until 7 am on May 6. The partial corona curfew implemented in the state has been extended.

Yogi Adityanath has extended the partial corona curfew imposed in all areas of Uttar Pradesh from 8 pm on Friday to 7 am on Tuesday for two more days till 7 am on the 6th. Since then, the lockdown in the state has increased by two more days. The lockdown, which started at 8 pm on Friday, is now five days in total.

The lockdown will now be in effect until 7 am Thursday. During this time, the compulsory service will continue as before. Teams of Nagar Palika and Nagar Nigam will carry out sanitation work at various places in the state during this time. Due to the government’s increase in lockdown for two days, now the winners of Panchayat elections in the state will also be deprived of celebrating.

The outbreak of coronavirus continues in Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, the state government had earlier announced a weekend lockdown but extended it till Monday. I.e. there was a lockdown from Friday evening to Tuesday morning. There was a lockdown from Friday evening to Tuesday morning. Now the same ban has been implemented for Tuesday and Wednesday. During this lockdown, anyone will stop going out without any reason. The people of the required area will have a discount and the transport will also continue. Markets will be closed; weekly markets will not take place.

Corona vaccination and tests will continue: Corona vaccination work and industrial activities will continue during this lockdown. During this time, shops will be open for essential items like fruits, vegetables, dairy, and rations for a limited period. At the same time, petrol pumps and gas supply, and drug stores will be open all the time. Weekly captivity will continue everywhere. Government employees will be able to move, they will have to show ID cards on-demand.

People in print and electronic media continue to be exempt.

Pregnant women and sick people will be able to come and go to the hospital.
