Jodhpur, 10th November 2021: A horrific road accident has occurred in Barmer, the border district of the Jodhpur division of Rajasthan. A fire broke out in a collision with the trailer of a private travel agency bus. There is information about many people getting scorched in the fire, while initially, 12 people died due to burning in the fire. According to SP Deepak Bhargava, a total of 12 people have died so far in a collision between a bus and a truck near Pachpadra in the Barmer district of Rajasthan.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed the District Collector to take necessary action in this regard and make special arrangements for the treatment of the injured. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund to the families of those who lost their lives in an accident on the Barmer-Jodhpur highway in Rajasthan. 50-50 thousand will be given to the injured.

It is known that after the accident, a huge fire broke out in the bus and truck. After the accident, laborers working nearby saved many lives. According to preliminary information, more than 2 dozen passengers were evacuated from the bus and admitted to Nahata Hospital in Balotra town of Barmer immediately.
