New Delhi, 5 February 2022: The Asian Literary Society in association with the ALSphere Foundation organized the PARWAAZ 2022 event (An initiative to showcase the talent of differently-abled people). In light of the present Covid-19 scenario, this event was conducted online. The day-long event started with a panel discussion on  “Disability is not necessarily incapability”. The panelists Mr. Madhusudan Srinivas (Former Senior Editor NDTV) and Ms. Geetha Poduval (Founder, Drzyashakti Trust & Motivational Speaker) discussed issues related to people with special needs and the ways to empower them with skills.

In PARWAAZ 2022,  people with special needs from India, UAE, and the USA enthusiastically showcased their exemplary talents. The participants included Aakash Thather, Anoushka Tandon, Anvi Vijay Zanzarukia, Benzy Kumar, Devansh Chandra, Jatin Rathod, Joanne Rodrigues, Keta Trivedi, Kamisetty Venkat, Krishnendu Chatterjee Mohini Chandraprakash Sharma, Muskaan Malhotra, Rashmi Patil, Sharan Delhivala, Shreyan Chakraborty, Siddharth Shakya, Syed Hyder Ali, Urvi Bhaveshbhai Rathi, Usaid Shaikh, Zinnia Desai, Ananya Halarnkar, Brydan Rodrigues, Rakshita Dineshbhai Bhagat, Jyot Tanna, Avaneesh Selvakumar, Md Affan Hashmi, Jay Gangadia and Bihag Srinivas.

This event was moderated by ALS administrators Ms. Zeba Hashmi and Ms. Nisha Tandon. The program ended with the felicitation of all the participants.

It was heartening to note the warm, positive response to the “PARWAAZ-2022” program from all the invitees, participants, and audience members from all over the world.
