Pune, 26 February 2022: Rajbhasha  Hindi workshop was organized on Friday 25 February at the Office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Officers), Pune. Under the able leadership and guidance of Principal Controller Dr. Rajiv Chavan, a concerted effort was made to make this workshop interactive and participatory by involving newly appointed auditors.

The workshop was inaugurated by  Aarti Rai Choudhary, IDAS, Asst. Controller of Defence Accounts (Admin).   In her seed remarks,   Aarti Rai Choudhary told the participants that Hindi has been specifically mentioned in clause 17 of the Indian Constitution as the main language of official purpose. Accordingly, instructions are always issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Official Language, from time to time for its effective implementation and it is our constitutional duty , moral obligation to abide and follow   follow it .  Sincere  effort should be made to do maximum official work in Hindi. To remove the hesitation of working in Hindi, organizing Hindi workshop every quarter is an important and powerful effective step and medium. She further extended extreme  confidence that all the participants would be benefitted from this official language workshop organized today and would learn something new and use it in their daily official work and meet the expectations of the framer of the constitution.

The workshop was successfully conducted by the experienced senior Hindi Official Translation Officer of Rajbhasha section  of the office,  Shobha Kashyap and Junior Official translation officer  Birendra Sah. In the first session of this workshop,  Birender Sah  explained about the  rules and regulations related to official language Hindi.  Further he discussed about the functioning of Defence Accounts Department and its offices.  In the second session,  Shobha Kashyap  gave guidance regarding correspondence in Hindi.

At the conclusion of the workshop, SM Sonkusre, IDAS, Joint Controller of Defence Accounts gave away participation certificates to the participants.

The programme was organized completely following the protocols / norms and standards of the Government of India related to prevention of Covid epidemic. This workshop was successfully conducted in a healthy environment by providing hand sanitizer at the venue and maintaining proper distance. This was the fourth and final workshop of  OL Hindi राजभाषा of this financial year in this office.
