Jaipur, 19th April 2021: Following the rise in Coronavirus cases, the Rajasthan government has extended curfew in the state till May 3. The government has named it ‘Public Discipline Fortnight’. It will come into force from 5 am on 19 April and will be in force till 3 May in the morning.

According to the media report, an official order stated that government officials, police, home guards, fire officers, public transport workers, civil officers, sanitation workers, health workers will be allowed to travel with an identity card.

According to the report, grocery shops and stalls selling fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and milk will be allowed to remain open till 5 pm. However, those selling fruits and vegetables on carts, auto-rickshaws, and mobile vans will be exempt till 7 pm.

Passengers traveling by airports, bus stands, and trains must show valid tickets. The RT-PCR negative test has to be shown within 72 hours of the journey to enter the state. At the same time, newspaper delivery will be allowed between 4 to 8 am in the state.
