Jaipur, 9th June 2021: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited applications for the Assistant Professor posts. The commission is going to recruit a total of 918 posts. However, candidates should keep in mind that from today i.e. June 9, 2021, the process of applying for only Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) is starting.
The commission has opened the application window to apply for the posts of Assistant Professor for the EWS category from today. Under this, now the candidates of this category can apply online by visiting the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. The last date to apply for these posts is June 23, 2021. After this, no application will be accepted.
RPSC will recruit more than 900 posts through this recruitment process in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, English, Hindi, History, Music, Sanskrit, Geography, Home Science, Urdu, Law, Punjabi and other languages.

Education Qualification: Candidates applying online for any post of Assistant Professor should have passed a Master’s degree in relevant subject from any recognised university with at least 55% marks. Apart from this, the candidate has also cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test recognised by the UGC like SLET / SET Exam. They are eligible for this exam. At the same time, the age of the candidates applying for this post should be between 21 to 40 years. Apart from this, there will be age relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per the government norms.
Selection process: Selection will be like this, the candidates who will be selected for the post of Assistant Professor will be selected on the basis of written examination (200 marks) and interview (24 marks).
