Jammu, 3rd January 2022: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have killed a Pakistani man trying to infiltrate into the Indian border in the Arnia sector, adjacent to the India-Pakistan International Border.

Before killing the intruder, the soldiers also warned him several times, but when he did not back down, the soldiers fired and killed him there. The body of the intruder is still lying near the border.

According to police, “there was an atmosphere of panic among the border people on hearing the sound of firing on the International Border in the early hours of today. At first, it seemed that the process of firing started between India-Pakistan soldiers on the border, but this firing was for a short time. Later it was learned that alert soldiers of the Border Security Force had killed a Pakistani infiltrator in the Bhule Chak sector of Arnia. Under the cover of mist, this Pakistani infiltrator was trying to enter the Indian border.”

According to BSF officials, “An unidentified person was seen moving towards the Indian border from across the border in the mist. As the man started approaching the Indian border, he was warned. Despite warnings, he continued to move towards the Indian border. Once again he was asked to return but as soon as he stepped into the Indian border, the BSF personnel opened fire and killed him there. The body of the intruder is still visible lying on the border.”

Earlier in December too, BSF jawans had killed a female Pakistani infiltrator at the Allah Mai De Kothe post adjacent to the International Border in the RS Pura sector. The woman killed was allegedly the guide of the terrorists.

Apart from this, on Sunday, in the Keran sector adjacent to the Line of Control, the soldiers killed an intruder trying to infiltrate the Indian border with the help of the Pakistani Army. The slain intruder was identified as Mohammad Shabbir Malik and an AK-47 and his seven magazines were also recovered from his possession.
