Ambala, 28th July 2021- IPS Bharti Arora of Haryana has expressed her desire for voluntary retirement to follow the path of devotion to Lord Krishna. At present, IG Bharti Arora of Ambala Range has sought retirement from August 1, 2021 in a letter to the Chief Secretary and DGP of the state. He has also requested exemption from the notice period of three months. He has been in service for 23 years. Bharti is the first woman IPS from Haryana, who has sought VRS.

Bharti Arora’s cadre was second before Haryana, later he joined the service in Haryana cadre. IPS Bharti Arora of 1998 batch had started service on 7 September 1998. Bharti Arora’s retirement is scheduled on 31 March 2031. Bharti, who is fifty years old, is married to IPS Vikas Arora of Haryana cadre. She has been SP in Government Railway Police, Ambala SP, Kurukshetra SP, Principal in Rai Sports Complex, IG, Karnal Range in Haryana. He wrote a letter on 24 July 2021 for voluntary retirement.

Bharti has written in a letter sent to the Chief Secretary and DGP of the state that she voluntarily wants to retire from August 1, 2021. At the same time, he also said that according to the rules, the notice period of three months should be given to them, they should be given relaxation. He said police service has been his pride and passion. She now wants to achieve the goal of life and follows the path of Guru Nanak Dev, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Kabirdas, Tulsidas, Surdas, Meerabai and wants to spend the rest of her life in the devotion of Lord Shri Krishna.
