New Delhi, 13 December 2021: In 2018, National Council for Educational Research & Training (NCERT) has issued the pre-school guidelines for all management of pre-schools. The guidelines provide the parameters for infrastructure, qualifications, and salary for preschool staff, admission process, records, and registers to be managed. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has developed a regulatory guideline for private play schools with an objective of bringing inclusiveness and uniformity in all private educational institutions imparting pre-school education and prevents violation of the child rights against children in the age group of 3-6 years.
