Pune, February 21, 2021: Cases of coronavirus are increasing rapidly in the state of Maharashtra. The schools and colleges in Pune have been closed in view of increasing cases of coronavirus. Along with this, the government in Maharashtra is also considering imposing a night curfew. The Uddhav government in Maharashtra is scheduled to hold a meeting on the growing cases of corona virus, in which many important decisions may be taken.



All school-colleges closed in Pune: Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in Pune. In view of this, all the schools and colleges have been closed. Pune Divisional Commissioner stated that in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 from 11 pm to 6 am, no one will be allowed to move except those involved in essential services. He also informed that schools and colleges in the Pune district will remain closed till 28 February. He said that the new guidelines regarding Corona will be implemented from tomorrow.



Thoughts on imposing night curfew: According to Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Vijay Wadettiwar, the Maharashtra government is considering imposing a night curfew in several districts of the state. In view of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra, the Uddhav government has imposed a night curfew to curb the virus. Providing information on Sunday, State Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Vijay Wadettiwar said that the state government will make a decision regarding the same soon. He stated that a meeting will be held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, in which a decision will be taken.



Meanwhile, there is also news that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray will address the people of Maharashtra at 7 pm today. There is a lot of speculation about CM Uddhav Thackeray’s address. Coronavirus cases have suddenly started increasing in many districts of Maharashtra including Mumbai. There is speculation that a lockdown may be imposed in many areas of Maharashtra.



Things are uncontrollable in Maharashtra!

The Health Ministry has reported that out of all the active cases of corona in the country, 74 percent are from Maharashtra and Kerala. The deaths from corona are also the highest here. Talking about cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra, 6,281 new cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. 40 people have died during this period.



In Maharashtra, in the last four weeks, weekly cases have shown a boom. These cases have increased from 18,200 to 21,300 in a week. With this, the positive rate has also increased from 4.7 percent to 8 percent.



Total cases in the state have increased to 20,93,913. However, out of this, 19,92,530 people have been recovered. There are 48,439 active cases of corona. The death toll in the state rose to 51,753, including new deaths.
