Lucknow, 30th July 2022: CM Yogi has decided to take action against the unfair transfers made in the health department of Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath cancelled the transfer of 48 doctors.

313 doctors from Level One were unfairly transferred. Their names were put on the wrong list. According to official sources, the transfers of more doctors can be cancelled.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak had expressed displeasure over the irregularities in the transfers of doctors in the Medical and Health Department of UP.

On July 4, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak wrote a letter to the Chief Minister saying that massive transfers were made in the medical department. Brajesh Pathak had objected that the transfer policy was not followed in the transfers. He had said that specialist doctors were transferred from many districts, including Lucknow, while other specialist doctors were not posted in their place.

The Chief Minister had summoned the officers after holding a high-level meeting. Along with this, complete information was also sought from ACS Amit Mohan Prasad.

According to sources, Amit Mohan Prasad had said in his report that all the transfers had been done as per rules.

The Chief Minister has formed a committee of three senior IAS and has sought a report within two days. These transfers have created a lot of resentment among the doctors. The medical association has also objected to this.
