Kazan, 22nd October 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on October 23 during the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia. This marks their first encounter since their discussions in Mamallapuram in October 2019.

At a press conference, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed the bilateral meeting, stating, “I can confirm that there will be a bilateral meeting held between Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping tomorrow on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit.”
