Patna, 13th May 2021: As many as 9977 patients suffering from COVID-19 recovered in the last 24 hours in the state. As per data provided by the Bihar Health Department 91.32 per cent recovery rate has been registered.

As per data provided by the health department, 5871 new Corona infections are identified. In the last 24 hours, 1,40,070 samples were examined. Patna has the highest number of 1281 new infections. While 356 in Muzaffarpur, 258 in Samastipur, 249 in Begusarai and 232 in Gaya new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

As per data provided by Bihar State Health Department, Araria 169, Arwal 61, Aurangabad 89, Banka 132, Begusarai 249, Bhojpur 45, Buxar 48, Darbhanga 145, East Champaran 192, Gaya 232, Gopalganj 139, Jamui 55, Jehanabad 23, Kaimur 9, Katihar 135, Khagaria 54, Kishanganj 120, Lakhisarai 60, Madhepura 104, Madhubani 139, Munger 184, Muzaffarpur 356, Nalanda 217, Nawada 40, Patna 1281, Purnia 182, Rohtas 45, Saharsa 107, Samastipur 258, Saran 125, Sheikhpura 14, Sheohar 128, Sitamarhi 74, Siwan 91, Supaul 191, Vaishali 103 and West Champaran 95 new cases found. Also, 43 samples collected from persons from other states.
