Patna, 21st May 2021: As many as 10,151 patients suffering from COVID-19 recovered in the last 24 hours in the state. As per data provided by the Bihar Health Department 92.12 per cent recovery rate has been registered.

As per data provided by the health department, 5154 new Corona infections are identified. In the last 24 hours, 1,25,011 samples were examined. Patna has the highest number of 981 new infections. While 376 in Darbhanga,  259 in Muzaffarpur, 199 in Begursai and 194 in Samastipur found new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

Mangal Pandey, Health Minister said, “In Bihar, 10,151 patients became recovered in the last 24 hours, the total number of recovered patients in the state reached 6,27,548 and the recovery rate is 92.12 per cent. The total active patients of Corona in the state are 49,311.”

As per data provided by Bihar State Health Department, Araria 130, Arwal 27, Aurangabad 96, Banka 66, Begusarai 199, Bhagalpur 141, Bhojpur 24, Buxar 38, Darbhanga 376, East Champaran 11, Gaya 185, Gopalganj 229, Jamui 33, Jehanabad 18, Katihar 173, Khagaria 82, Kishanganj 121, Lakhisarai 25, Madhepura 87, Madhubani 174, Munger 117, Muzaffarpur 259, Nalanda 129, Nawada 37, Patna 981, Purnia 171, Saharsa 149, Samastipur 194, Saran 77, Sheikhpura 17, Sheohar 75, Sitamarhi 85, Siwan 135, Supaul 121, Vaishali 116 and West Champaran 89 have new cases found. Also, 36 samples collected from persons from other states.
