Anakapalli, 22nd February 2023: Even today, medical facilities are not reaching the people in many states of the country. Due to the non-availability of any medical facility in the village, the woman was taken to the hospital in a cot made of sticks and cloth in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh. According to the information, the mother and the newborn were taken to the medical centre after being carried in it for about three and a half kilometres.

After being taken to the hospital, the doctors declared the child dead. At the same time, the treatment of the woman is going on in the hospital. Such incidents have once again raised questions about the state’s medical system.

Another hallmark of this is a tragic incident in Pedagaruvu village in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh. A five-month pregnant woman from Pedagroove village gave birth to a baby boy at home.
