JAMMU, OCTOBER 10, 2020: Management of Government Medical College Jammu today said that the institution has adequate buffer stock of Oxygen supply is available to cater to the needs of covid patients.

Medical Superintendent GMC, Dr Keerti Sharma informed that total 451 oxygen cylinders have been consumed in last 12 hours including 416 in GMC and 35 in CD hospital. He also informed that GMC has a buffer stock of 500 oxygen cylinders.

Giving further details, the Medical Superintendent informed that GMC has total 124 patients out of which 28 are in isolation ward, 15 are in CCU, 34 in ward no 3, 20 in ward no 7 and 27 in HDU. Out of 124 patients 118 are on oxygen supply and Bipap facility.

Similarly, Chest Disease hospital has 34 patients and all have been provided with oxygen supply facility. The Gandhi Nagar hospital has no patient. He further informed that three deaths have also been reported in GMC in last 24 hours.
