Bhopal ,June 18, 2019 : Simplify colony development process for common man and builders. Implement single window system to complete all the formalities. This was said by the Minister for Urban Development and Housing Shri Jaivardhan Singh during the workshop held on the subject ‘Work Completion Certificate’. Officers of 21 departments took part in the workshop.

Shri Singh asserted that rules for releasing work completion certificate based on the conclusions of the deliberations held in the workshop will be simplified. He further added that this will be taken into consideration in totality.

The Chairman of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Shri Antony DeSa mentioned that simplification and unification of work completion certificate related to colony development in urban and rural area is utmost important. Easy and timely issuance of proper certificate protects interest of allottees and builders. He also informed about the works carried out by the RERA. The Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Smt. Gouri Singh said that besides allottees’ interest, it is also must to focus on integrated development. She expressed views on proper and on time use of charges. The Principal Secretary Commercial Taxes Shri Manu Shrivastava said that it is also must to keep in mind the government’s interest while simplifying the rules of releasing work completion certificate.

The Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Shri Sanjay Dubey mentioned that necessity amendment in rules of releasing work completion certificate is being felt keeping in mind the convenience of allottee and builder. This workshop has been organized to fulfill this objective. He further stated that efforts will be made to resolve maximum problems of builders on the basis of suggestions received in the workshop. The Director Town and Country Planning Shri Rahul Jain informed about the objectives of the workshop. Deliberations on deemed permission, online permission, registration charge and other issues took place in the workshop. The Commissioner Urban Development Shri P. Narhari and other officers were present at the workshop.
