Members of Joint Forest Management Committee of five districts, on two-day study tour under Hamar Chhattisgarh Yojana, were today informed about various government schemes and programmes. On both the days of the tour, group discussion and training programme was organized for the members in Uparwara based Hotel Management Institute in Atal Nagar. Total 500 members of joint forest management committees have come on study tour to capital city from Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur, Dantwada, Kondagaon and Kabeerdham districts.
In-charge Officer of Hamar Chhattisgarh Yojana Mr. Dinesh Agrawal informed members of joint forest management committee about the scheme in detail. He informed that under the scheme, nearly one lakh 65 thousand representatives have visited Raipur on study tour. He expressed hope that in these two days of the tour, members of joint forest management committees will learn about the government and administrative works in a better way and witness the development Chhattisgarh has undergone in last 15 years.
Panchayat and Rural Development Department officer Mr. Udai Ram Kamde informed the members about various government schemes including charan paduka yojana, janshree beema yojana, tendupatta bonus etc. Panel Advocate of Raipur District Law Service Authority Mr. Sahir Ludhianvi informed the members of joint forest management committees from five districts about various laws and also informed them about the free legal assistance being provided by government to the financially weak section of society.
