Bhopal : Minister of Revenue and Transport, Shri Govind Singh Rajput has said that provision of essential facilities to journalists in private buses in the state is under consideration. Earlier, journalists were given concession and reserved seat in the State Transport Corporation buses in Madhya Pradesh. The corporation has shut down, so provision of facilities to journalists in private buses is being considered. The decision will be taken shortly after discussions in this regard. Shri Rajput was addressing at a New Year Milan programme on Swaraj Express TV channel on Saturday. He said that the existing shortcomings in transport facilities from villages to the towns will be removed. Focus will be on rural transport along with city transport. Similarly, night-time buses will also run between big cities. Transport Minister Shri Rajput said that road tax exemption on vehicles in Gwalior Fair will be 50 percent.
Shri Rajput said that revenue courts will start functioning from February 16 to settle revenue related cases of the public in state. In addition, removal of encroachments will also be on focus. More attention will be paid to gear up revenue teams and corruption will be checked at every level. Corrupt behavior will not be tolerated.
